Gresco Gives Back
Over the past month, our Gresco teams have been involved in several opportunities to give back to our communities.
National Volunteer Week
During National Volunteer Week (April 21st-27th), several of our employees went out of their way to serve others. Our Louisiana location distributed sandwiches and iced bottled waters in Baton Rouge to people in need. We want to recognize Tyrone Perkins, Marvin Dixon, Chasity McCLure, and Justin Tarver for recognizing the need in their community and helping to meet that need with this kind gesture. Thank you!
In addition, some of our employees regularly volunteer to serve their communities.
Dylan Buzbee, Renewables Technology Specialist, volunteers with Miracle League of Volusia County in Florida. Every Saturday he coaches a team in a baseball league for those with disabilities. Thank you, Dylan!
Luke Arnold, Inside Sales Associate (Georgia), is currently undergoing training with the Fire Academy for the Reynolds Volunteer Fire Department. Pictured below are Luke and his daughter at the Georgia Strawberry Festival.
Blood Drive to Help Save Lives
Several of our Georgia and Headquarters employees recently participated in a blood drive with the American Red Cross to help save lives. Their participation in the blood drive highlights Gresco’s collective commitment to supporting our community and making a positive impact. Thank you to all who donated!
Save A Pet
Recently our Georgia and Headquarters employees had the opportunity to participate in a donation drive for a local non-profit dog shelter in Forsyth, Georgia. We were honored to partner with Save A Pet to donate items such as dog food, dog treats, toys, cleaning supplies, and other needed items for their shelter. This organization has helped many rescue dogs since they opened in 1998. They are always looking for volunteers to help at their shelter, and most importantly, for families looking to adopt a dog to welcome into their forever home.
A special thank you to all who donated to this great cause! We look forward to partnering with Save A Pet and other community organizations in the future.
