The DJI Matrice 400 with DJI Care Enterprise Plus is an enterprise drone platform designed for emergency response, power inspections, mapping, and architecture, engineering, and construction workflows. The aircraft provides up to 59 minutes of forward flight time under DJI test conditions and supports a maximum payload of 6 kg at sea level when using the third gimbal connector. Its sensing system combines rotating LiDAR, upward LiDAR, mmWave radar, binocular vision, and a downward 3D infrared sensor to support power-line-level obstacle sensing.
O4 Enterprise Enhanced Video Transmission supports transmission distances up to 40 km under DJI test conditions, while Airborne Relay Video Transmission allows one DJI Matrice 400 to serve as a relay for another aircraft. The platform also supports Smart Detection with compatible visible and thermal payloads, AR projection, Real-Time Terrain Follow, and ship-based takeoff and landing under DJI’s documented operating conditions. Support for single and dual downward gimbals, a third underside gimbal connector, and four E-Port V2 ports allows up to seven payloads to be mounted simultaneously.
This package includes DJI Care Enterprise Plus. Coverage, eligibility, limits, and service terms are subject to the applicable DJI Care Enterprise agreement.
Multi-Payload, Multi-Scene
The DJI Matrice 400 supports flexible payload configurations for different enterprise operations. With a maximum payload capacity of 6 kg, the aircraft supports both single and dual downward gimbal configurations, along with a third gimbal connector on the underside. Four external E-Port V2 ports expand integration options, allowing up to seven payloads to be mounted simultaneously.

O4 Enterprise Enhanced Video Transmission System
The DJI Matrice 400 supports O4 Enterprise Enhanced Video Transmission for long-range enterprise operations. With a ten-antenna system on the aircraft and a high-gain phased-array antenna system on the remote controller, the system supports image transmission at distances of up to 40 km under DJI-specified conditions.
Airborne Relay Video Transmission
The DJI Matrice 400 features a built-in video transmission relay module. One Matrice 400 can operate as a relay aircraft for another Matrice 400 flying at a greater distance, providing an additional transmission option for operations where terrain or distance can affect the communication link. DJI specifically provides an Airborne Relay workflow for the Matrice 400.
Power-Line-Level Obstacle Sensing
The DJI Matrice 400 combines rotating LiDAR, mmWave radar, and full-color low-light fisheye vision sensors to support power-line-level obstacle sensing. This multi-sensor system can detect thin obstacles such as power lines and provides sensing support in low-light, foggy, and visually complex environments. Obstacle-sensing performance can vary based on environmental conditions and the position, shape, and material of the target.
Real-Time Terrain Follow
The DJI Matrice 400 supports Real-Time Terrain Follow in any horizontal direction during manual flights and automated flight routes. The aircraft can maintain its height relative to the ground as the terrain changes. During search and rescue operations, this can help maintain a more consistent subject size on the remote controller display. During mapping operations, it can help maintain a consistent ground sampling distance across uneven terrain.
Takeoff and Landing on Ships
The DJI Matrice 400 supports takeoff from stationary vessels and landing on moving vessels under DJI’s documented operating conditions. The system detects landing-point patterns on the deck to support ship-based operations such as maritime patrol and offshore wind-turbine inspection.
