The Asset Inspector feature operates through two primary user roles: the Planner and the Pilot.
The Planner through a dedicated WebApp, design, schedule, and assign inspection tasks:
Importing asset data: Gathering accurate locations of assets and importing them into the system.
Flight planning: Creating detailed flight plans/paths, either manually or automatically.
Mission Setup: Configuring the drone's flight parameters and ensuring all necessary data is organized and ready for execution.
The Pilot Role handles the execution specialized data collection flight software to execute these tasks in the field:
Launching the drone: Deploying the drone to carry out asset inspections.
Monitoring the flight: Tracking progress across the execution of the mission to ensure the routes are executed.
Data Collection and Post Flight Tasks: Overseeing data collection and completing necessary calibration and generating reports on the inspection results.
