The DJI Avata 2 features a new, lighter airframe that supports longer flying times, comes with an upgraded remote control and set of first-person view (FPV) goggles, and backs up its wide-angle camera with a larger image sensor than before. The DJI Goggles 3 feature adjustable diopters, two micro-OLED screens that support the 10-bit enhanced display, with an up-to-100Hz refresh rate and ultra-low-latency transmission. The DJI RC Motion 3 controller makes it easier than ever for total beginners to get airborne. The camera provides immersive aerial photography and HDR videography at up to 4K/60fps, as well as slow-motion footage at 2.7K/120fps.

The updated integrated propeller guard design of Avata 2 makes it lighter and more agile, enabling it to navigate freely in tight spaces. Releasing the accelerator on RC Motion 3 or pressing the lock button brings the drone to a halt, allowing you to handle unexpected situations calmly. In addition, the automatic Return to Home (RTH) function is initiated when the drone's battery is low or in case of signal loss, adding an extra layer of security.

 

Advanced Positioning With New Sensors

New binocular fisheye sensors enable downward and backward visual positioning during low-altitude and indoor flights, enhancing flight stability and safety.

Turtle Mode

Avata 2 can automatically flip itself back into takeoff position when upside down with Turtle mode enabled, so you can quickly get airborne again.
