The Makita XWT09Z is an 18V LXT® Brushless Cordless High-Torque Impact Wrench designed for demanding fastening applications. It features a 7/16" hex chuck and delivers up to 590 ft.lbs. of torque, making it suitable for linemen and electricians working on power line installation and maintenance. The brushless motor is electronically controlled to optimize battery energy use, extending runtime and tool life. A 3-speed power selection switch allows for precise control across a range of tasks, with speeds up to 1,800 RPM and 2,200 IPM.

The tool includes Star Protection Computer Controls™ to prevent overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. It weighs only 8.1 lbs. with battery (sold separately), reducing operator fatigue. Additional features include dual LED lights for improved visibility, a rubberized soft grip for comfort, and a hanging ring for convenience. The Makita XWT09Z is compatible with Makita 18V LXT® and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries equipped with Star Protection.
