Inaugural Rocket City Showcase Takes Flight in Huntsville

Gresco's inaugural Rocket City Showcase took flight on Thursday, June 18th, 2026, bringing together customers, vendor partners, and Gresco employees in Huntsville, Alabama, for a day of networking, learning, and exploring the latest solutions across the utility industry.

The fun started a day earlier with a pair of Welcome Events on Wednesday, June 17th. Customers and partners kicked things off with a Golf Scramble at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove and a Clay Shoot at Old South Clays, giving everyone a chance to compete and enjoy some time together before the main event.

The morning of the Showcase, attendees were greeted with an early morning breakfast featuring Conecuh sausage, Daylight Donuts, and coffee from Dutch Bros Coffee. The day kicked off with a Gresco Tool & Safety demonstration featuring mechanical jumpers and temporary protective grounds including discussions about capabilities, lead times, customizations and more, along with a Q&A session for attendees.

Throughout the morning, customers had the opportunity to connect with Gresco's product market teams and vendor partners to learn about the latest technologies and solutions available across the industry. Our teams were well-represented, showcasing everything from UAS and drone technology to Renewables, Tool & Safety, Lighting, and more. Whether attendees were looking for new products, practical solutions, or simply a chance to ask questions and exchange ideas, there was something for everyone.

One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity to give back to the local community in the greater Huntsville area. Together, attendees and Gresco raised a total of $7,160 for Kids to Love in Madison, Alabama. We are grateful to everyone who contributed and helped support the organization's mission of serving children in foster care throughout North Alabama and Tennessee.

Lunch was provided by Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q, serving up pulled pork, smoked turkey, pulled chicken, and all the classic Southern sides, as raffles and prize giveaways were held. The popular Gresco Hat Bar also made an appearance at the Showcase, giving attendees the opportunity to customize their own Gresco-branded hats.

One of the best parts of the a Gresco-hosted show is the opportunity to bring customers, vendors, and Gresco employees together in one place. Beyond the products and technology on display, the event is about strengthening relationships and spending time with the people who help make our industry successful.

A special thank you goes out to our Huntsville team for hosting and helping make our first-ever Rocket City Showcase a success, as well as our vendor partners, customers, and Gresco employees whose support, hard work, and participation made the Showcase possible.
