PowerConnector Specialties has been making big strides in recent months. With a new RUS approval, progress toward ANSI Class 2 Certification, and several new manufacturer rep partnerships, PCS continues to strengthen its support for customers throughout the country.

Meeting Industry Standards: RUS Approval and ANSI Class 2 Certification

Gresco Utility Supply proudly serves as the official U.S. central warehouse for PowerConnector Specialties, a veteran-owned sales division of Teydesa Conectores, S.A.U., providing access to a large selection of shear bolt connectors designed for low- and medium-voltage applications.

PowerConnector Specialties has recently achieved USDA Rural Utilities Service (R.U.S.) approval, reflecting the company's commitment to delivering products that meet rigorous utility industry standards. This approval gives utilities and contractors added confidence in the quality and performance of PCS products for everyday utility applications.

PCS also has completed ANSI Level 2 Partial Tension Testing and passed in three categories of connectors - straight splices, lugs, and stemmed connectors (lollipops). This is another exciting step forward for the brand as this helps improve the capabilities for overhead use and otehr use cases that were limited by their prior non-tension rating.

Growing the Network: New Manufacturer Rep Partnerships

To better serve customers throughout the United States, PowerConnector Specialties has recently expanded its network of manufacturer representatives. Recently added partners, joining Gresco, include:

• Shanahan & Associates - Servicing: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C., and Virginia (partial). New York is PSEG Long Island and ConEd.
• CSI Utility Sales - Servicing: Illinois (north of I-80), Wisconsin (outside of Xcel), Indiana (NIPSCO only), and Michigan (upper peninsula).
• Bell & McCoy - Servicing: Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Nevada, Kansas, and western Missouri are utility-specific. Louisiana and Mississippi are Entergy.
• Gresco services Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Lousiana, and Kentucky.

The expanded rep network helps PCS reach more customers with the service, support, and product knowledge they need.
