large inventory, our fleet of trucks, and
crane service,
our customers
encounter very few material delivery
problems. We have the equipment and personnel
to deliver what you need, where and when
you need it; same day, next day or next
week.
In less than 60 days,
Gresco ships over 1000 transformers to
customers out of Gresco’s
stock; delivered in less than 48 hours,
at competitive prices, with no blanket
commitments from the customer. We average
over 400 single phase transformers and
15 three phase pads shipped out of Gresco’s
stock per week, with little or no blanket
commitment from the customer. Gresco’s
stocking and service philosophy on blanket
orders, partnerships and strategic alliances
is NOT to depend entirely on the manufacturer
to meet the customer’s delivery and
stocking needs.

We provide a reliable level of stock
that will allow Gresco customers to reduce
their
inventory, thus increasing profitability.
With over 2500 single phase transformers,
$2 million of conductor in stock, over
$100,000 in storm stock (Automatics, Fuses & Connectors),
and more than 100 three phase transformers
in stock ranging in sizes up to 2500 KVA,
we can meet any size and schedule requirement.
Plus, over 95% of Gresco’s inventory
is stocked without commitments, because
we are committed to providing the highest
level of service to every customers.
Consignment
Consigned inventory in the customers warehouse
with no commitment to buy.
• Provide
on-line access to inventory levels
located at
the customer’s
warehouse and/or Gresco’s warehouses.
• Inventory levels managed by the customer or Gresco.
• All procedures to manage consigned inventory are tailored to
the customer’s
needs.
Strategic Alliances
Gresco will provide
consigned stock at the customer’s location at a minimum
quantity of 1.5 months average monthly
usage, but not to exceed a quantity of
3 months average monthly usage . Gresco
will maintain a minimum backup stock
equal to 1 months average monthly usage
at Gresco’s warehouse. Weekly usage
reports are required for billing of consigned
stock. The customer will take title to
the balance of the consigned stock 30
days prior to the end of the blanket
order/strategic alliance if not extended.
Terms for billing are net 30.
Technical Support
Experienced, trained, and professional
outside and inside sales staff.
• Gresco’s
sales staff receives manufacturer training throughout the year, at training
facilities and in-house.
• Gresco works closely with all its manufacturers to assure that
Gresco customers receive timely & quality direct technical support
from the manufacturer.
• Gresco provides training seminars for its customers at the customer
location and off-site.
Distributor/manufacturer sponsored trips to factories to resolve technical
issues.
• Gresco owns a 20’ trailer for on-site product demonstrations,
sales, and technical support.
NEETRAC
Tested Material & Quality
Assurance
Gresco provides you
with an assurance of quality. We maintain
alliances with industry
leading manufacturers that are RUS and
IS09000 approved. We are a charter NEETRAC
member and pays $105,000 per year for continued
membership, which allows Gresco’s
customers access to membership rates in
testing material, access to test reports
available only to NEETRAC members, and
access to committees which direct Gresco
in the use of its membership.
We require independent testing of Gresco
stock to insure consistent quality. Should
there ever be a quality issue Gresco is
committed to resolving the problem at Gresco’s
expense if necessary to satisfy the customer. |
